That might even make more sense since they could use Nissan’s existing dealer network.

I figure if Renault wants to sell their products here, they could always pressure Nissan into selling them through their existing US dealerships, even if under the Nissan badge.

I thought they were already doing that? The versa always looked like it should be a Renault.

They share platforms and drivetrains, but don’t quite share sheet metal yet. We don’t get any directly rebadged Renaults in the US as Nissans, however the Versa is rebadged in some overseas markets as the Renault Scala. It does have a bit of a Gallic look to it though.
